CTP General Secretary Asim Akansoy said that if his party come to power in the forthcoming elections then they will not allow the proposed delivery of a riot control vehicle to the TRNC.
The previous UBP government had ordered a riot control vehicle for its security forces from Turkey. Mr Akansoy said that if the CTP party were in power they would not allow for the entry of a riot control vehicle.
He said that this type of vehicle could only be used to oppress the people.
