President Dervis Eroglu and President Anastasiades have agreed to meet on Monday, 25th November, in order to try and agree on a joint declaration which will lead to the restart of negotiations on the Cyprus problem.
Both leaders will meet at 6.30 pm at the Chateau Status restaurant which lies in the buffer zone in Nicosia.
President Eroglu telephoned President Anastasiades to express his condolences over the death of former President Glafkos Clerides who died last Friday. During that conversation, apparently the Greek Cypriot president invited Eroglu to meet informally in order to try and reach an agreement over the elusive joint statement.
