FEMA, the feminist workshop marched in protest yesterday, against the all-male cabinet selected by the new coalition government.
In a press statement, FEMA said that it was essential for democracy that women were placed in positions of power; they should not be regarded as mere window dressing.
The statement continued that given the domination of men in politics and management, women were treated like second class citizens. However they refused to be silenced.
