The jetty collapsed at the public beach at Karsiyaka yesterday, seriously injuring an eleven year old boy.
Young Aziz Tasliovali is currently in intensive care at Nicosia state hospital.
The jetty gave way in the middle and fell into the sea, leaving Aziz trapped underneath.
