The oil polluted beaches of Famagusta have been deserted by the public who are instead crowding Kyrenia beaches.
The tour boats have also been popular during the Ramadan holiday period.
Marine Tourism Association head, Faik Gencer said that all the boats had been used to capacity. He added that the only issue had been the prices charged. While most boat operators had kept to a price around TL40 per head, some were charging around TL 80.
