Despite all the warnings, a new act of lunacy was added to the list dangerous behaviours that take lives on the road in North Cyprus.
On the Kyrenia mountain road, a perplexed driver took the above image of an overloaded truck and sent it to ‘Kibris Postasi’.
The bales of hay are clearly unsecured, unevenly distributing the weight on the back of the truck. It looks like the whole load could topple at any moment. And because one of the bales appears to be unravelling, the vehicle’s number plate is obscured.
An accident waiting to happen.
