The TRNC will participate in HESTOUREX, the World Health, Sport, Tourism Congress and Exhibition, which will be held in Antalya, Turkey, between 6-9 April 2017.
Minister of Tourism and Environment Fikri Ataoglu has said that the ministry considers investments in health tourism to be of great importance, adding that the aim is for North Cyprus to gain a larger share of world health tourism.
He added that the increase in the number of hospitals and health institutions, which have international accreditation, should run parallel to the development of the health sector.
