17 more guides were given diplomas yesterday showing that they had successfully completed the Tourist Guide Training Course.
The Tourism Minister Mehmet Harmanci was at the ceremony. He said that they had an important role to play in showing off the TRNC to tourists.
The course ran from May 16th to July 2nd and covered theory as well as visits to museums and historical sites.
The guides specialised in different languages, 8 English, 5 German, 2 Dutch, 1 French and 1 Kazakh.
