Presidents Akinci and Anastasiades held a three-hour meeting within the framework of the Cyprus negotiations, on Thursday. The UN Secretary-General’s Special Advisor on Cyprus Espen Barth Eide was also present.
The meeting continued during a working dinner and outstanding issues relating to all chapters of the negotiations, with the exception of the property issue, were discussed.
This was their second meeting following their agreement to intensify the negotiations. Four further meetings are scheduled for this month.
