The Cyprus negotiations enter an intensive phase this month, with the two Cypriot leaders meeting on Monday. They are expected to hold a further five meetings in November.
Top of the agenda will be the property issue at this evening’s meeting, which begins at 6pm today. The two leaders will begin to take on a more active role in the talks, to tackle the complex property issue.
It was also announced that neither Akinci nor Anastasiades will be making press statements after their meetings. They will, however, give a progress report at the end of the process.
The two leaders are scheduled to meet on November 5, 18, 20, 23 and 25.
