A clean-up effort for Alagadi Beach begins tomorrow.
KKTCell Mobile Phone Company and the Protection of Turtles Association are jointly carrying out a clean-up of Alagadi Beach tomorrow so that the baby turtles have a clean beach to traverse on their way to the sea.
The event will start at 6pm tomorrow evening at Alagadi Beach and is one the mobile phone company’s projects calling on all volunteers and nature lovers to participate.
Children from the SOS Children’s Village, environmentalists and Turkcell employees will be taking part.
Once the beach has been cleaned up, the baby turtles (Caretta Caretta) will be released into the sea.
