KIB-TEK has purchased two new power units, the manager of the authority Salih Gurkhan has said.
The two units, which arrived at Famagusta port at the weekend will increase capacity at Teknecik Power station by 34 megawatts and help to reduce fuel consumption.
Transportation of the units to Teknecik by the north coast road begins on Wednesday.
Gurkhan says that the extra units which cost 13 million Euro would in operation by May.
