The new interim government a few days ago, sacked a popular Turkish actor, Necati Sasmaz as cultural attached for the TRNC.
Yesterday, apparently in retaliation, the TRNC Economy Ministry website was sacked by the actor’s supporters.
The hackers posted a picture of the actor along with messages highly critical of TRNC citizens.
These messages are composed in broken Turkish and include statements such as “Until recently Turkish Cypriots were being murdered by Greek Cypriots, without us you would not exist” and:
“You have forgotten who you are and are becoming foreigners”.
