Nicosia and Famagusta have lost their water supply because of an electrical fault at the pumping station.
Irrigation Department manager Turgay Hoşsöz, stated that water will not be supplied to Nicosia and Famagusta until about 6 pm today, ‘Kibris Postasi’ reports.
Hoşsöz stated that the reason for the water cut is because of an electrical fault at the Morphou-Kumköy pumping station, however the fault will be repaired today and water supply to Nicosia will resume this evening.
