Two Greek Cypriots were injured in a traffic accident in Karpaz yesterday, near Kumyali; one of whom refused to go to a TRNC hospital.
The two men were sightseeing in the Karpaz area yesterday when around noon their car left the road and overturned.
When an ambulance arrived, 31 year old Costandinos Michel insisted that he did not want to be taken to the hospital but wanted to be transported to the border instead.
The ambulance crew responded that they were only allowed to transport people to hospitals and eventually both men were taken to Famagusta State hospital.
Both men are reported to be in good condition.
